Alumni measure an institution's success. St. John's Northwestern Military Academy has outstanding alumni. The Academy lists thousands of graduates who have gone on to become leaders in their chosen fields. Many graduates have excelled in government service as governors, congressmen, and senators. Over 20 graduates achieved the rank of General or Admiral in the U.S. armed forces. Innovators in business are found in such diverse fields as automobile manufacturing to baby food processing. Such noteworthy examples of Academy graduates in U.S. history are the founder of the national park service and the originator of our country's cold war plan to contain communism. Countless graduates became college and professional athletes with two graduates participating in the Olympics. Award-winning graduates can still be seen or heard on the television, on the radio, and in the movies.

Today's graduates have a legacy to follow and a strong sense of commitment and pride. The Academy's motto of "Work Hard, Pray Hard, Play Hard" are still repeated and followed everyday. A new generation of leaders will add to this long gray line of former cadets.
