Jay Graf N1966 has spent nearly 40 years as an entrepreneur and businessman primarily in the medical device field. During that time, he attained numerous distinguished leadership positions that include chief executive officer of Guidant Corporation, which he led until its purchase by Boston Scientific, Inc., in 2004. Mr. Graf is currently a venture partner with New Enterprise Associates (NEA) and serves on the board of several organizations including Indiana University’s School of Business. He is a graduate of Boston University and holds a Master in Business Administration degree in finance from Indiana University. He served in the United States Air Force where he achieved the rank of Captain. On October 16, 2009, Mr. Graf visited via telephone with Major Sean Tice 2009.
